Very nice lady named Maya from Staten Island. Her father is Hindu and her mother is Catholic. When she was young she decided to follow Hinduism like her father and she really likes Ganesh and chants the Ganesh mantra to remove the obstacles in her life. I told her that her name is one of the names of Parvati the wife of Lord Shiva and the mother of Ganesh! She’s currently reading a book about Lord Vishnu and told me she loves to read spiritual books. At first she wanted a copy of the “Science of self realization” and gave $10 donation for it but then after speaking with her and seeing how sincere she is, I showed her the “Sapta” set. She said she’s familiar with the Gita and goes to Hindu temple in Queens regularly. She’s 8 months pregnant and told me that her baby (Melody) was kicking because of the music of the kirtan which means she likes it! She also showed me her meditation crystals. She told me that she works as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and specializes in giving out medication for people with disabilities. She took the “Sapta” set plus the extra copy of the “Science of self realization” to give to her father and I also gave her the 2020 BBT art calendar.
