I asked him where he was from and he said he’s originally from the Dominican Republic. I told him that my soul brother Gopal (who was standing close by) is from Santa Domingo in my funny broken Spanish and he laughed. I asked him if he’s spiritual and he said he thinks of himself as a spiritual person so I showed him our set. I started telling him how today is Gaura Purnima a special holiday and how these books speak about Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s mission to spread a spiritual revolution for the benefit of all humanity. I asked him to please take the books if he wants to be fully benefited on this very special day and somehow he was inspired and took the set! I could tell that Lord Caitanya’s desire for the books to go out was much greater than mine and I just decided to get out of the way and be the instrument of Guru and Gauranga.
