Highlights from Philadelphia a few days before the Ratha Yatra festival! We went to Rittenhouse square and did Harinam and book distribution!
Krishna prasad prabhu recalls:Nice group of friends who walked by the Harinam. I called them over to get some Prasadam cookies and they asked me what we are doing out here. I told them about the big Ratha yatra festival with kirtan music and a great free vegetarian feast! They were very nice and said that they love spirituality so I immediately told one of the girls about the books and showed her our set but she didn't have enough money. I told her to give $10 and to ask her friends to give the remaining balance and her friends happily pitched in to give the extra donation! It was sweet because they all did some devotional service and helped her get Srila Prabhupada’s books.
