He got a Ratha yatra invitation flyer from Vrindavan kirtan prabhu and he came over to the book table. He showed me a spiritual book that he had with him. He’s a vegan and is quite active in supporting vegan protests for animal rights.
I showed him our set and he was really into getting all the books. He’s an avid reader. I told him that we usually receive a minimum $50 for a set.
He told me he wants to check his bank balance to see if he has enough for a donation. He only had $60 in the bank but he said: “I love the nice energy of your group chanting and I really want to learn from these books so I’m going to donate $50!” Amazing, even though he’s not working right now he told me he felt happy about getting the set.
