The Harinam was ending for the day and I was starting to pack everything up. She came up to the book table and was looking at all the different books. I asked her if she likes to read and she replied in sign language so I assumed she was deaf.
She asked me if we had a book that teaches how to read Sanskrit. I told her we don’t have a specific book but then I showed her the “Bhagavad Gita” and explained how it has a Sanskrit guide that she can look at and learn. She looked at it and she was amazed and said: “great, l want a copy. I also want the Srimad bhagavatam (1st canto) and the Science of self realization."
She reads English, Arabic and Hebrew. At that point I told her if she wants all those books she might as well get our “Saptarishi” set. She agreed then she sat in the kirtan for a little bit and I also gave her some prasadam. Krishna’s mercy.
