He’s been living in New York for some years now and owns a magazine store in the bowery downtown Manhattan. At first when he came across the Harinam he asked if he could sit with us and chant. He was clapping and chanting for at least a half an hour. Then I showed him our set and he told me that he has many of Srila Prabhupada’s books. He also used to distribute books in India regularly. He told me that this work of book distribution is a great service to the Americans. Really nice devotee, he mainly took the set in order to share the books with others and to support what we’re doing. He invited me to come and put a book stand in his store.
