Really soft hearted humble lady named Kalpana originally from Bangladesh.
She and her family owned some land back home in Bangladesh but they were driven out by the Muslims who invaded many years ago so they ended up moving to America. Now She owns a store in the Jackson heights area of Queens which his is run by her entire family. She was speaking with Maharaja at first and he was showing her the Srimad bhagavatam 1st canto. She told him how she loves Krishna and how she takes her family to Vrindavan on holiday whenever they can. She also regularly visits the Radha Govinda mandir in Brooklyn. I was with Maharaja at the book table and I asked her why not just take the whole set and the swami will bless her and her family. Plus I reminded her that it’s Katyayani Mass and it’s a very auspicious time to serve Krishna following in the footsteps of the gopis.
