Ram gifts Kam!
The first thing Kam ever asked me was, do I have anything on Kali Yuga?! I was surprised because not everyone does that. Then I showed him our “Sapta” set and opened up the SB 1.1 and it just naturally opened up to verse 1.1.10: “O learned one, in this iron Age of Kali men almost always have but short lives. They are quarrelsome, lazy, misguided, unlucky and, above all, always disturbed.”
He was shocked, so was I and he expressed how the verse spoke about everything he was thinking about, It was unbelievable! Then he saw the Gita and couldn’t believe that he found such a copy. He was saying he can’t believe that there are people in this age who carry around this knowledge and are sharing it. He said he would’ve never imagined that he’d be walking down Fulton street and come across such an immeasurable fortune. Seeing his sincere desire our friend Ram came over to talk with him. Ram got a book from us 2 years ago and is now chanting 16 rounds and following the 4 regulative principles for the last year and a half! He told him he would be willing to gift him the entire “Srimad Bhagavatam” set for the holidays. Kam couldn’t believe it, he was overjoyed and came today to pick it up. He was profusely thanking Ram and our humble self. Such are the pastimes of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu!
