Really nice lady named Patricia from Brooklyn. She was walking by the Harinam and took some pictures. At first she put $1 donation in the donation basket then I went up to her. She told me that she could sense that I was a good soul by looking into my eyes. She’s learned to feel God’s presence everywhere through her faith as a Christian Methodist.
She sings gospel music in the church choir every Sunday so I recited the “harer nΔmaiva kevalam” verse to her and explained that there’s no other way in this age than to chant the Holy name of the Lord. She said: “Amen to that, I feel you!”
When I showed her our set she was open minded and told me that she believes the Lord manifests in different ways. She actually gives out Bibles to different people on the weekends with people from her church and it’s very satisfying so she could relate to what we’re doing with our book distribution. She told me that she’s sure these books are going to help her with her relationship with God.
