She’s been meditating since she was 3 years old because her mother was practicing seriously while she was growing up. Her mother even took her to a few Hindu and Buddhist temples.

She works as a server in a restaurant. She said she works hard for her money and doesn’t easily give it away but she felt that this was a real worthwhile cause to donate to. She actually bought the books as a birthday present for her son. She will also look at the books of course.
We showed her the address of the temple in Denver and it turns out she lives at the end of the same block and will go visit when she gets back.
