Nice friendly gentleman named Alex who was walking by. I said hello and stopped him then we started talking. He told me that he knows about the chakras and wants to learn more about meditation. He’s practicing Buddhism so I showed him the painting of Lord Buddha in the first canto of the Bhagavatam and he liked it. At first he was hesitating to take the books because he’s been going through some problems having to pay for child support and other family expenses. I told him that all the problems he was telling me about are just temporary but these books are going to help him eternally. I told him he deserves to take this special set of books on priceless spiritual knowledge and the donation we ask for is so insignificant compared to the spiritual benefit he will gain!

Really nice gentleman named Steve who Bhakta Euron stopped initially. He’s quite familiar with the Hare Krishna devotees and has been reading the “Bhagavad Gita as it is” regularly. He’s also been attending programs at the Bhakti center for the past few years and loves the Thursday night kirtans.
He’s only read the Gita so far and wanted to get other books by Srila Prabhupada so Bhakta Euron called me over and I showed him our set. He gave a very generous donation so I also gave him a “Bhakta stack” and some small books. He said he wants to share the small books with his friends as gifts. He’s in the process of getting his yoga teacher training certification so he can start teaching yoga so I told him these books will teach him the philosophy behind yoga as well.

Really nice gentleman name Eugene. He grew up in a Jewish family following Judaism but gave it up when he was older and took up Hinduism as his faith along with his wife. His wife actually studied astrology Jyotish sashtra and he became a certified Reiki master and helps people with healing energy.
He named his daughter Devi. He was telling me that he really loves Sad Guru and watches his videos regularly. I told him after reading these books it will clear out all the nonsense and establish Krishna as the absolute Supreme Personality of Godhead in his heart without a doubt! Before he left he gave me a short free Reiki healing session.

Really nice lady named Norma. She literally ran up to me and asked me for the books. She’s into yoga and meditation and was attracted to the “Sapta” I was holding in my hands. So I told her that we offer these 7 books to help open up the 7 chakras! I explained how many great minds like Albert Eisenstein, Gandhi, Emerson and others used to read the Vedas for spiritual guidance and inspiration. She was very happy and gave a generous donation then even took a selfie and sent it to me via text.

Vraj from Gujarat was walking down the hallway and looked at the “Books on spiritual knowledge” sign on our book table and stopped to look at the books. He told me that every year for Gita Jayanti he does a Gita reading competition where a group of Gita students each talk about what they read and give a 5 minute presentation. He told me he knew about Srila Prabhupada because a friend of his once found an “On chanting Hare Krishna” pamphlet on the floor in the subway and gave it to him. He was really impressed by Srila Prabhupada’s explanation of the Maha mantra. I showed him the “Sapta”’set first and explained a little about each book then I showed him the Lilamrita and told him it’s the complete biography of Srila Prabhupada’s entire life and he’s really going to love it. He told me that meeting us was divine intervention how else would he run into us today.
