Naimika from Haridwar, really nice lady.
I asked her what she does as a profession and she told me she works for a bank in midtown Manhattan. I told her that I have to give her some prasadam (cookie) then I showed her our set. She was very interested especially in the “Bhagavad Gita as it is”
I noticed that she had a picture of her son as her wallpaper on her phone. I told her that these books will not only benefit her but her son and husband as well. I told her they will bless her whole family. She was pious and eagerly gave a donation on her credit card.

It started raining so we went to the Times Square subway. He’s the first person I saw and I just said: “Hey my friend you look like the future!” He thanked me so I showed him our set
and explained that these are rare spiritual books of ancient wisdom from India. He looked at the books then looked at me and just gave a generous donation right away!
He’s from the Dominican Republic so I told him he looks like the “Dominican Albert Einstein!” He loved that and thanked me again for the set! Really nice gentleman.

Somehow I see this nice Indian gentleman everywhere I go on Harinam. I’ve given him a book in Union square park, in Times Square subway, Grand central and even at the New Jersey festival. When I saw him today in Columbus circle he said: “I probably have all books by now!” We both laughed and then I showed him the Prabhupada Lilamrita set and told him he doesn’t have it!

These two friends were just walking by on their way to visit Central Park when I stopped them and said: “Hare Krishna!”
His name is Sai Kiran, he’s living and going to University in Toronto and she’s living in New Jersey.
He speaks Telugu so I spoke to him about Balaji and how’s He’s the Lord of the seven hills and that’s why we offer these seven books together as a set. I told him if he takes the set he will get the blessings of Balaji and Lakshmi Devi as well.
He plans on going back to India after finishing school in a month and using his engineering degree to serve to his country.

Took our van for an oil change at the dealership I used to work at.
When I went inside I was helped by JD and I noticed he had a bracelet with elephants on it. I told him that this was a symbol of good luck, and that today was his lucky day. He then asked me: “really? What’s going to happen?” I put a “Saptarishi” set on the table and said: “you’re getting an opportunity to get the most amazing spiritual knowledge available anywhere in this universe.” He smiled and was excited to take the books.

His name is Jesus. Really nice gentleman who likes to read and he’s open to learning about eastern spirituality.
He was taking a video of the Harinam while his friend was also watching.
I told him: “hey man you look really cool with that hat backwards and the beard looks sharp on you!”
He turned to his friend and said: “I like this guy.”
I showed him our set and explained how these are some of Albert Einstein’s favorite books on self realization and meditation. He told me he wants to get into some form of meditation to help him grow spiritually. I told him about how we have seven chakras and that the set has seven books too. I really felt that he was ready to get the mercy.
Before he left I told him: “You look like a brother Jesus with the beard.” He and his friend laughed and gave me a fist bump goodbye. Cool friendly guys.
He lives in uptown Manhattan close to our ashram so I took his contact info and invited him to come to our Sunday feast program.

Krishna prasad prabhu recalls: 
She’s a pretty famous Chef apparently and has her own cookbook (EyeSwoon).
I told her: “Hare Krishnas eat the best cuisine cooked with love and devotion for the pleasure of Krishna. These books will not only teach you about the art of cooking for Krishna but the art of being with Krishna through daily mantra meditation.”
She likes to practice yoga in her free time and wants to learn more about the process of meditation. I explained to her about the philosophy of Bhakti yoga in terms of reawakening love for Krishna and how it’s different from just doing mainstream yoga for bodily exercise.
She wants to visit the temple to learn how we cook. Really nice person, I enjoyed speaking with her about Krishna consciousness and cooking.
