She told me that she’s been coming through this subway station regularly for many years but she always uses the upstairs level to get to her train and today for some reason she went a different way through the lower level where the Harinam was set up. So she walked right past the Harinam and I said hello and showed her our books. First I showed the Bhagavad Gita and explained how it’s the jewel of India’s spiritual wisdom and it’s the definitive guide to the science of self realization. She really appreciated what I was telling her about the books and genuinely wants to learn more about the philosophy. I taught her how to chant the Hare Krishna Maha mantra and she thanked me for everything. She felt that it was by a higher arrangement that she ran into us and was able to get the books.
