Vijaya is a really sincere person. He’s 24 years old, lives in the Bronx and has a two year old daughter. Bhakta Euron stopped him and brought him to the book table. He was looking at the Bhagavad Gita and asked if all the small books are included in it and I said yes. I showed him our set but he said he only has $7 in cash on him and he just wants the small books so I gave him a stack of some small books. Then Bhakta Euron asked him what’s stopping him from getting the full set and encouraged him to get it. I told him he can put it on his credit card and that we’re a non profit organization so he can deduct it from his taxes. He asked me if the books will help him discover who he is and I told him these books will teach him everything he needs to know.
Actually he’s a Jehovah’s Witness but he found that there are many things missing in the Bible and he wants to learn more spiritually.
