This nice Indian lady had actually taken a “Srimad Bhagavatam” set from me during the last Ratha Yatra festival in Washington square park. She was walking around with her daughter and saw the Harinam and came up to say hello to me. I showed her our Sapta set and the Lilamrita and explained how it’s the most amazing story of Srila Prabhupada’s life. She told me she was very grateful to have received the bhagavatam from us and she’s been reading it regularly. She told me when she was a child she used to go to the temple and see the priests reading from it. Now she’s happy having the whole set in her house. I suggested to her that she could offer the “Saptarishi” set to a friend of hers on Krishna Janmastami as a gift. She gave us a generous $300 donation from the Mahat-Tattva set.
