I was really distraught because I wanted to do another set. The last guy I spoke to was almost going to take one but at the last minute he changed his mind. I was praying to Krishna but then I realized that book distribution is not a business it’s actually begging to give out the mercy. Then I surrendered and decided to go home so I went into the subway. Somehow I went into a different car than the rest of the devotee and this nice lady smiled at me and showed me a book she was reading called “starting to understand a higher level of consciousness.” Her name is Marianne and she’s very interested in Buddha and Buddhist philosophy. I showed her our set and asked her to please take the books. She said: “yes, I’ll definitely take them I love this kind of reading. My mom was catholic and she wanted me to be like her but I was on a different path. When my mom saw that I was also spiritual in my own way she was happy for me in the end.”
She told me that It’s probably hard for me to distribute this kind of spiritual literature but she really appreciated what I was doing and kept encouraging me.
