We were shopping in Walmart looking for a beach umbrella for tomorrow’s book distribution gig in Philadelphia and I bumped into him in the parking lot. He told me that he was recently going through a divorce and that somehow his life changed when he took to spiritual teachings for relief and guidance. I told him: “it’s OK no problem what can you give to support us? We’re traveling monks and all we do is distribute these books on spiritual knowledge. Please try to give as much as you can.” Finally after a little more convincing he ended up happily offering $128 for the set.
