I met her in Union square park while the Harinam was going on. She didn’t take a book from me but I gave her a card for the Saturday Bhagavad Gita program at 26 second avenue. She stayed for the entire program. After Harinam ended, I went to 26 second avenue and I saw her there. She really liked the class and appreciated a lot of the points that were made. I took the opportunity and showed her the books again. She told me how she just lost her job and also had to give up her apartment. She told me she wants to take the books anyway because she knows that knowledge is the most important thing. So I explained to her how having the right knowledge can help us make the right decisions. Even though she’s going through difficulties she can see it as God trying to bring her closer to Him. She appreciated that point and took both sets.
