Really nice person named Patrice originally from Trinidad now living in Brooklyn! She very enthusiastically came up to the book table and started looking at the book selection so I asked her if she’s into meditation. She said yes she likes to meditate and wants to learn more deeply about the process to understand the philosophy behind it so I showed her our set and told her this is the perfect set of books for her. She already heard of the Gita and has wanted to read it so I showed her the Sanskrit transliteration which she was very much impressed with because she loves languages. She told me that she just returned from a trip to Egypt where she went to see the pyramids and took a tour on a ship through the Nile river and spent some time in Cairo as well. She’s studying Arabic and she loves Egyptian mysticism. She had a special necklace made with hieroglyphs spelling out her name. She told me that she wants to travel to India some day too because of it’s great ancient culture. She was happy to get the books and gave a nice donation.
