I met this nice gentleman named Adonis several months ago in Brooklyn and he got a “Sapta” set from me back then. He’s been to the Sunday feast program at our ashram and he’s starting to really appreciate Krishna consciousness. He often passes by the Harinam when we’re in Brooklyn because he works close by and takes some prasadam cookies. He’s a professional dancer and works late nights a lot of the time for rehearsals and he’s trying to improve his schedule so he can wake up early in the morning and do some meditation but it’s been a challenge for him. Today, I showed him the “Prabhupada Lilamrita” but he told me that he’s been trying to save some money to catch up on his bills and can’t really afford it. I encouraged him by telling him to get the books and reassured him that his bills will take care of themselves by Krishna’s arrangement. I told him he can never go wrong by investing in his spiritual life plus I explained how the Lilamrita is the complete biography of Srila Prabhupada and he’s going to really love reading it.
