Pious gentleman named Vedānta from Guyana. He was on his way to work in Brooklyn when he heard the kirtan after getting off the train and decided to come see the Harinam.
He told me that he already has a copy of the “Bhagavad Gita as it is” when I first showed it to him but he actually wants to get a copy of the Srimad Bhagavatam! He said he wants to read the Vedas and starting focusing more on his spiritual life because he’s getting older now so I showed him our set and explained that it’s the complete collection. He’s very sincere and gave me a generous donation for it.

His name is Vedānta from Guyana!

He got a “Sapta” set earlier in the day on his way to work. After he finished working he came back to the Harinam and wanted to get the Lilamrita set that Krishna prasad prabhu had shown him before. He also wants to visit the ashram tomorrow for the Sunday feast program and get an entire “Srimad Bhagavatam” set and a “Chaitanya Charitamrita” set too!
