Very nice young lady named Jiaqi from Hong Kong. She was watching the Harinam intensely and listening to the kirtan very attentively. I went up to her and she started telling me that she’s a follower of Sad Guru and asked me if I know the Rama Krishna mission. I said: “Rama Krishna! This is Hare Krishna!” She was saying how she’s trying to understand how we’re not the body but souls. I could tell she was an intelligent person so I started showing her the “Prabhupada Lilamrita” and told her that this set of books are about the Guru of the whole world His Divine Grace A.C. Bhakitvedanta swami Prabhupada and he gave the real teachings of the Vedas to everyone. I opened it up and showed her that it’s a signed copy from the author who’s a disciple of Prabhupada. I explained how it’s the complete 7 volume biography with many paintings and pictures of Prabhupada’s life and how by reading these pastimes it will help her come closer to understanding what is the reality behind this life. I also gave her a copy of the “Bhagavad Gita as it is” as an extra gift because she was so sincere.
