Lokanath prabhu lives in the Brooklyn area close to where the Harinam party is set up today. He stopped by to say hello when he saw us doing kirtan. I offered him some prasadam cookies and he kindly offered a generous donation in return for the gesture so we gave him a “Saptarishi” set as a gift. He’s been an initiated devotee since 2005 when he moved here from Guyana with his family. He was saying that his children are all grown up now in their twenties and he wants to focus more on his Krishna consciousness. He told us that he’s going to run a few errands in the neighborhood and he’s coming back in the evening to sit and chant with us in the kirtan before he goes back home.
