He’s been a scientist most of his adult life specializing in nuclear physics but he told me it drove him a little crazy because he couldn’t get clear answers on the meaning of life! One day a friend of his invited him to visit a Ganesh temple and he had a spiritual awakening of some kind. Then he got a “Bhagavad Gita as it is” and started reading it and thought it’s an amazing book because it answered a lot of his questions on the goal of life and understanding the world. So I showed him the Lilamrita and told him it’s the biography of A.C. Bhaktivedanta swami Prabhupada who translated the “Bhagavad Gita as it is” and wrote the commentaries.
