This is bhakta Richard who’s been coming to the NYC Harinam for the last few years very steadily. He usually arrives after work at around 3pm and stays until the end at 7pm. He really loves chanting and dancing with us. He met the Harinam party and Ramaraya prabhu some years ago in Union square park where he was working at the time with the parks and recreation department as one of the parks custodians. He got inspired and started chanting japa as well, he now chants ten rounds a day. He told me that he just finished reading an abridged biography of Srila Prabhupada called “Prabhupada, Messenger of the Supreme Lord.” So I showed him the “Prabhupada Lilamrita” last week and he told me he’d like to get the set the following week after he gets paid. And today he came to me smiling that he wants it.
