Mahotsaha prabhu recalls:
Krishna prasad prabhu met her first in Union square park a few weeks ago when she got a “Mahat tattva” set from him but asked us to deliver it to her so we went to her studio in midtown to bring her the sets. Her name is Satya and she’s from Mumbai. She’s actually a famous Indian artist who studied film scoring at the Berkeley school of music in Boston. The Indian government issued her an O1 visa for special artist who are exceptional in their field so they can stay in the US. I was preaching to her about the Srimad Bhagavatam. I told her this is the pure thing, Krishna wants full surrender and discipline but He won’t cheat you like so many others. I also spoke to her about Lord Chaitanya and how He’s Krishna Himself in the mood of Srimati Radharani and they’re both present in the transcendental sound of “Hare Krishna.”
She told us that she chants “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” daily for meditation so I showed her where the mantra is in the bhagavatam (4.8.54) Then she wanted to open to a random page in the Bhagavatam to see what it says and it opened on verse 1.12.20:

“This child will be a munificent donor of charity and protector of the surrendered, like the famous King Śibi of the Uśīnara country. And he will expand the name and fame of his family like Bharata, the son of Mahārāja Duṣyanta.”

After reading that she wanted to give us some charity. She took out her credit card and wanted all the books. She gave a grand total of $800 as a donation and was literally crying in tears of ecstasy while doing it!
Her friend came in towards the end of our visit just in time to take our picture! Before we left we gave her a spiritual challenge for a month and asked her just to chant the “Hare Krishna” Maha mantra and read 41 pages of Srimad bhagavatam every day.
