I stopped this nice couple and asked the lady if she likes yoga by any chance? She told me she’s been practicing yoga for years and loves it. I showed her our set and explained how the books are actually yoga scriptures. I asked her to read them and apply them in her life. I said: “Please take the books and you will become a yoga master. Great people like Muhammad Ali, Tupac Shakur and Gandhi read the Gita and took guidance from it.”
She opened her wallet and she had an Om picture on it and a Buddha picture on the other side as well. So I turned to the boyfriend and said: “you’re very lucky to have a spiritual girlfriend like her. Better get ready because she’s going to teach you some serious yoga.”
She asked me about Kama or if any of the books teach about things like the Kama sutra so I opened the Gita and read her verse 7.11:
“I am the strength of the strong, devoid of passion and desire. I am sex life which is not contrary to religious principles, O lord of the BhΔratas [Arjuna].”π
She really wanted the set but didn’t have enough money on her to cover the full cost but then her boyfriend offered to pay the difference so she could have the set.
