Highlights from the Boston Ratha Yatra festival.
Krishna prasad prabhu recalls:Nice Indian lady from Hyderabad who was invited to the Ratha yatra but isn’t a Hare Krishna devotee. She was very cultured and was interested in the Bhagavad Gita.
I showed her our “Sapta” set and she really wanted to get it so I also showed her our “Srimad Bhagavatam” set and told her she deserves to get it also!
She was hesitant at first to get the entire bhagavatam set but I explained to her: “this Srimad bhagavatam is actually the body of Krishna, please accept Krishna into your home and help us to spread this Vedic culture around the world so we can help the fallen people of this Kali Yuga.”
Finally she agreed and she told me that she wanted to take both sets. She thanked me for convincing her about the importance of accepting these valuable scriptures.
