Krishna prasad prabhu recalls:
Mahotsaha prabhu and I were in the subway car on the way back to the ashram after Harinam when we met these two nice couples. We started talking with them and then we each showed them one of our sets. We did a tag team together. I explained to this couple how we’re monks and we distribute books on spiritual knowledge to all the nice people. Mahotsaha prabhu showed the “Saptarishi” set to the other couple and they took it so I showed this couple the Lilamrita and told them: “it’s the biography of the author of all those books. These two sets go perfectly together. In order to understand the Bhaktivedanta purports you have to understand Bhaktivedanta himself.”
I also explained how these books not only give us spiritual knowledge but spiritual strength as well so we can deal with the problems of material life. Both couples got swept away in ecstasy and Krishna inspired them to take sets. It was amazing!

Mahotsaha prabhu recalls:
They’re were watching Krishna prasad prabhu speaking to this nice Jamaican girl on the train and became curious so I started talking to them. They’re from Nebraska and Illinois, Trevor and his girlfriend Samantha. She’s been V
egan for many years and they both love to do bodybuilding together. They’ve been traveling together on vacation for the past few weeks and really love New York City.
I asked Trevor if he likes to read and he told me that he’s read 15 books since January so I showed him our set! He was a real nice guy and gave a donation for the set on the spot. I told them that we live in an ashram and they said they want to visit us for this Sunday feast program.
The other couple who’s traveling with them was sitting across and they also got a set from Krishna prasad prabhu.
