Vanessa is living in the Bronx and she’s originally from the Dominican Republic.
When she first told me her name I told her that’s my sisters name! She smiled and we already had something in common.
She was saying how she recently watched a movie called “The secret” and it made her think. She doesn’t want to follow some kind of dogmatic philosophy but she wants to learn what life is all about and her purpose in the world. She told me that’s why she stopped by the book table because she saw our sign “books on spiritual knowledge” That’s what she’s looking for, just getting into spirituality. So I showed her our set and told her these books are perfect for her. At the end she expressed to me that she doesn’t usually like to read but this is something she can make an exception for!
