Malik is a real sweet guy. He was telling me how his father spent some time in India and he learned about all the different demigods. His father actually named him Ganesh when he was born but his mother was a little against it so they called him Malik instead. But his father still calls him Ganesh as a nickname. I had met him a few months ago in March in the Times Square subway and he wanted to get a set but we were just setting up and we didn’t have a set on hand yet. I had explained to him about the set of seven books and he waited for a while for the devotee to arrive with the rest of the book cart but somehow it took too long and he had to go. He said he will take them from me next time he sees me. And today I ran into him again in Union square park, he remembered me and asked if I still had those books!
