I was trying to get the book cart up the subway stairs because the elevator wasn’t working and no one was helping until this nice guy showed up and agreed to give me a hand!
He’s originally from Pittsburgh but he’s living in New York now working as a nurse.
I asked him if he’s a spiritual person and he told he considers himself spiritual, he was recently talking about the Dalai Lama with a friend of his. I showed him our set and explained to him how these books are valuable and give you actual genuine spiritual knowledge.
He used to be a nurse in the US Army and remembered how so many injured soldiers were having near death experiences and telling him about it. They started being more religious and praying to God after these events. He was always inspired by their stories to learn more about spirituality.
He lives very close to our ashram and is planning on visiting us for our Sunday feast program.
