Very Humble lady Melinda (waste management professional for Union Sqaure park) takes a Srimad Bhagavatam set!
I met her a month and a half ago on a warm day. She saw the books and the chanting and asked what it was about. I told her that this chanting was meant to reawaken us to our true identity of being servants of God.
She explained to me how her mother had recently passed away, and that she wasn't finding any solace in Christianity. She looked at Buddhist teachings as well but nothing had resonated with her. But she said that somehow this chanting was of a different energy and she could feel there was something special here. I had originally shown her a Maha Tattva and she agreed to take one, but it would have to be in 2weeks. 2 weeks went by and I didn't see her, another 2 weeks and again no show.
But.... Today finally we crossed paths again and she said "I came for my books!" Krishna inspired me from within to show her the Bhagavatam set. I told her that these books provide us with a complete and thorough understanding of the material and spiritual worlds, who we are, who is God, and what is our relationship with Him. I said that if she read these books with sincerity by the end she would be fully God Realized. She would then be able to actually help out everyone around her.
She said "I knew there was a reason I couldn't take the Maha Tattva set that day, it's because I was really meant to get this Srimad Bhagavatam set!"
