Currently we're identifying with this temporary material body, but we actually have a real eternal identity that's covered over. And that as we engage in the process of devotional service our real identity gets revealed to us." He was into Buddist philosophy and so he liked the part about us not being the body. I explained to him that this philosophy picks up were Buddhism leaves off because it tells us about simultaneous oneness and difference.
He was interested in learning more, so he took the books and planned to come to the next Sunday program.
