Mother and daughter get the mercy!
She’s been going to the Bhakti center for a year regularly especially for their Thursday night kirtan. Recently she went to Radha Govinda Mandir and met Vaisesika prabhu who gave her a copy of the Bhagavad Gita. She also received a set of chanting beads from him. At the Bronx ratha yatra she saw Lord Jagannath and she was dancing so I went up to talk to her. She told me she can’t take too many books home because her husband is against Krishna consciousness and she’s afraid to upset him. But finally she admitted that she really wants to read the books in the set.
She’s been quietly reading the Bhagavad Gita to her daughter and her daughter likes it and smiles when she hears it. I gave her a Tulasi necklace and she put it on right away!
