Really introspective guy, he was sitting by the fountain near the Harinam. I saw that he had some rings with Sanskrit writing and said "Those are really cool, what do they say?" He replied "I don't know, but the guy in the store told me they're for getting good vibes."
I then thought: “There are so many people out here actually searching for something meaningful, but unfortunately so many are being cheated." So I resolved myself and was determined to give him something useful.
I showed him the books and said: “these books speak about material problems and spiritual solutions. They explain to us how any material adjustments we try to make in our life will ultimately lead us to disappointment if we don't search after the soul." He was hesitant and said he had spent a lot of money today.
I told him that these books would without a doubt change his life, if he just took a little time to read them and apply the knowledge contained in them. Then he said, "you know what, I admire your determination and I can feel that you’re trying to give me something that's good for me. I've spent a lot of money on material things today that I don't really need. I'll take these books I'm sure it's the reason why I sat here."
He also said he will definitely come to our Sunday program!

Sometimes when people say no it's because they don't "know" enough to make the right choice. I've realized that sometimes people give a little resistance, but if your convinced in your own mind that this person needs these books, a lot of the time people end up taking them.
